In the Fall of 2012, Hurricane Sandy had hit the east-coast of the United States, after leaving a trail of devestation starting from the Caribbeans. When it hit the NJ/NYC metro area, close to 3M businesses and homes lost all electricity. Many more devestation accrued in loss of commerce, home destructions, property damages, and deaths.
In the wake, many communities came together to assist their fellow neighbors. One of those many afflicted was the Junction area of Jersey City, NJ. Here, local church organizations coordinated to provide basic comforts. These were some of the volunteers.
